Food For Thought: Pumpkin

October is the month you can traditionally find pumpkins everywhere, from front porches to baked desserts.



News 12's Natasha Geigel met with celebrity chef Gina Keatley to learn some healthy ways to eat the fall favorite food.



Keatley says pumpkin is packed with nutrients, and canned pumpkin is equally nutritious as fresh pumpkin.



She says pumpkin pancakes are one of her breakfast favorites for autumn.



Keatley says pumpkin soup with curry and pumpkin raviolis are fun and easy to make with leftover pumpkin.
