Arrest made in deadly Mott Haven stabbing

An arrest has been made in connection to a fatal stabbing in Mott Haven earlier this month.



On Oct. 16, Alfredo Aracena-Cambero, 50, was found on the Lozada Playground on East 135th Street with stab wounds to the head and chest. 



He died while being transported to Lincoln Hospital.



Police say 33-year-old Jorge Garcia has been arrested in the case. He is facing charges of second-degree murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
