Scattered downpours, storms possible overnight; scattered storms continue Saturday

Saturday will be partly to mostly sunny and humid with scattered downpours and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be strong to severe with torrential rain, gusty winds and hail.

NOW AND NEW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Steve Teeling says overnight, skies will become mostly cloudy with a few scattered downpours and storms possible. Saturday will be partly to mostly sunny and humid with scattered downpours and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be strong to severe with torrential rain, gusty winds and hail.
NEXT: The front slowly clears the area on Sunday with some morning clouds giving way to mostly sunny skies. Fourth of July Monday looks mostly sunny, warm and dry, a little less humid. The rest of the week looks warm and muggy with a few chances for some thunderstorms.
OVERNIGHT: Becoming mostly cloudy with scattered downpours and storms developing late. Very muggy.  Low of 71.
SATURDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy and humid with scattered downpours and storms. High of 84.
SUNDAY: Morning clouds give way to mostly sunny skies, a little less humid. High of 81.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny and warm. High of 82.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny with a scattered shower or storm. High of 83.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny. High of 82.
