P.S. 72 students imagine world without hate
Students at P.S. 72 in Throgs Neck spend Sunday imagining a world without hate and bullying.
The school joined the "No Place for Hate" initiative in 2011, and this year it teamed up with the Anti-Defamation League to celebrate a "Day of Difference."
Volunteers were matched with a student and their parent to paint a mosaic mural of how they view a world without hate.
Organizers say the goal is to teach students bullying is not acceptable. They hope this day will make a difference in their future.
