Power problems persist throughout Westchester
Westchester is still plagued by problems days after powerful winds knocked down trees and power lines in the county.
Con Edison and NYSEG are reporting approximately 1,000 homes are still without power. That number is drastically reduced from the 80,000 in the region without power immediately after the storm. Still, residents say some areas look like a battlefield, strewn with trees, utility poles and transformers that came crashing down. Con Ed officials say at one point they had to quadruple their workforce to get the job done. However, outages still linger in the region.
