yesterdayA porch collapse in Dutchess County has resulted in one person being injured, according to the Roosevelt Fire District.
Fire officials say a porch from an upper story of a building in the Town of Hyde Park collapsed, trapping one person in the wreckage around 2 p.m. Monday.
The individual suffered injuries, including a lower leg injury and bleeding, and was subsequently transported to the trauma center at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital for treatment.
No other part of the home was damaged in the incident.
