Sections of the City Center parking garage in White Plains have been sealed off due to safety concerns.
Three ramps and the South Broadway exit of the garage were closed to the public Thursday by the White Plains Parking Authority.
?It?s just something that we want to check,? said Al Moroni, of the parking authority. ?This is not a crisis.?
Officials say various welded areas of the garage are worn down to the point that they can be seen through. The parking authority plans to have engineers re-weld those areas in need of improvements.
Patrons of City Center are now worried about parking during the hectic Memorial Day weekend.
