10h agoA beloved member and fixture of the Yonkers community was identified as the victim of a fatal car crash into a home.
Mayor Mike Spano says Christine Kenney-O'Rourke held several positions with the Amackassin Club Board and was a trustee for the Yonkers Historical Society.
She was also a greeter at Untermeyer Gardens and the daughter-in-law of former Yonkers Mayor Dr. James O'Rourke.
"Her compassion for Yonkers is going to be sorely missed," Mayor Spano said in a statement
