Make Ends Meet: Entertaining kids at home on a budget
Like many people across the nation, Cornwall mom Angie Kloiber and her family haven't left the house for weeks – a parenting challenge that Kloiber has embraced while staying on a budget and working with limited supplies.
She says they have been occupying their time together with lots of art projects from recyclables, such as toilet paper tubes, egg cartons and food containers.
"I'm going to make this a really happy time for my kids to look back on,” she told News 12. “To kids, it doesn't matter if it's perfect. It's all about spending the time in the process and that's the memorable part."
Kloiber recommends picking a theme, such as an animal or a famous person, and using the internet for craft inspiration.
