Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Elmsford police officer Douglas Ramirez, 44, of Mahopac, has been charged with grand larceny and official misconduct. Prosecutors say Ramirez stole $15,000 while on duty from a package that was delivered to the station.
An employee at the Glen Arbor Golf Club was injured Wednesday when he was struck by a falling tree limb while riding a golf cart. He was taken to northern Westchester Hospital Center, then transferred to Westchester Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.
Scarsdale police are searching for the suspects wanted for stealing a car. They say it happened Wednesday when a group of men approached a resident of Edgewood Road while he was walking to his SUV. Police say the suspects demanded his keys before driving off with the vehicle toward the Bronx River Parkway.
