The one-time bus czar of Rockland County is facing up to at least one year behind bars.
Richard Brega, the former owner of Brega D.O.T. Maintenance Corp., pleaded guilty Tuesday to falsifying business records.
The 50-year-old is accused of steering thousands of dollars in political contributions to the 2013 primary election of a candidate for Rockland County executive.
Brega is expected to serve the one year concurrently with any sentence he receives in federal court.
