A pup in Ulster County is recovering after a scare in Walker Valley on Tuesday morning. 

Zoey was rescued from freezing water in the Lake Estates development on Lake Shore Drive.

Firefighters had to walk out to where the pup was trapped.

Zoey was brought back to shore and reunited with her owner who was out looking for her.

The fire chief says he checked in with the owner and was told the dog was doing fine after she got dried off and warmed up.
