The Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department is making some changes to its finances.

The changes come after Gerry Munson was arrested earlier this year, accused of stealing more than $300,000 by altering and manipulating the bank's records.

Croton's Fire Council Audit committee says a new treasurer was appointed, they have terminated all debit and credit cards and a detailed, written treasurer's report will be presented each month to the Fire Council, including a copy of the monthly bank statement.
