Company offers new way to reveal gender of a baby: lasagna-style
Couples expecting a new baby have come up with a variety of different ways to reveal their baby’s gender to friends and family.
There’s the popular blue or pink cakes, blue or pink balloons and even blue or pink smoke.
But one Italian food company has come up with another one – the gender reveal lasagna.
Pizza company Villa Italian Kitchen announced a new catering package for people who are expecting. The catering package includes a lasagna, with the cheese dyed pink or blue, depending on the sex of the baby.
“We think of our guests like family, and wanted to find a way to celebrate such a momentous occasion with them,” said Villa Restaurant Group Division Vice President of Franchise and Catering Stephanie Beamer in a statement.
The catering package will cost $139.99 and also includes garlic rolls and salad. It serves 12 people.
The company wants expecting parents who get the package to film the reveal and post it on social media using #LasagnaReveal to be entered into a catering contest.
Anyone who wishes to order the gender reveal lasagna can do so at Villa Italian Kitchen’s website.
