Seventeen of the 19 students accused of planting ticking clocks in Hendrick Hudson High School have accepted plea deals in connection with the prank.Police say the students planted the clocks in the school on Sunday, June 10 and set them to go off simultaneously at 9:15 the next morning. As part of the deal, the original felony charge of placing a false bomb has been reduced to attempted placing of a false bomb. Instead of facing a four-year prison term, each student must perform 25 hours of community service and attend a counseling session on decision-making skills. Two of the original 19 seniors still face felony charges.
