A man was caught on surveillance video Friday exposing himself to women in a West Hempstead salon.

Mayelin Then, the owner of Luxurious Beauty and Hair Studios, says the man showed up at the front door of her business with his belt unbuckled and hand inside his pants.

She says he knocked on the door but did not open it. He gestured for her to come closer.

"He looked at me in my eyes and he pulled down his pants and his privates were out in the open," says Then.

Toward the end of the night, Then says she encountered the man again in the parking lot. She says he stood there, still exposed, looking at her – until he finally walked away.

"We shouldn't allow these types of people to bring fear to our lives and our hearts. My routine will be the same,” says Then.

No arrests have been made.
