A Bridgeport social services organization entertained a neighborhood with a free block party Friday.
LifeBridge Community Services held its fourth annual community block party, where families and children enjoyed free food, face painting, temporary tattoos and games provided by volunteers and through donations.
Those at the party say it's a great way to bring some summer fun to their neighborhood.
Organizers say that while the nonprofit is usually helping families navigate complex financial, education, and health issues, they're happy to just help families have a good time.
For more information on LifeBridge Community Services, they can be reached at 203-368-4291.
