A Yonkers woman is set to perform on "American Idol" this Sunday, according to the city of Yonkers.
Officials say that 20-year-old Amara Valerio is a former "Yonkers Junior Idol" and a "Yonkers Idol" contestant.
If she wins, she will be the first "Yonkers Idol" to make in on "American Idol."
