Students from Yonkers Montessori Academy marked National Unity Day by making a peace pledge.
The students all wore orange as a symbol of solidarity in the fight to end bullying.
They vowed to speak up, be role models and hopefully change someone's life in a positive way.
A total of 180 fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students signed a banner pledging to stand up against bullying.
