Preparation for Yonkers' 94th annual marathon underway ahead of this weekend’s race.

Mayor Mike Spano is set to paint the finish line for Sunday's race this afternoon at River and Dock streets.

The Yonkers Marathon is known for its hilly course that starts and finishes in downtown Yonkers and travels through the scenic hills, then along the Hudson River.

It is not too late for runners to sign up for a half marathon, full marathon, relay or 5K race.
