Police are on the hunt for a suspect who they say was involved in a Saturday night shooting near Doyle Park in Yonkers.

Yonkers police say a man was shot in the back on Ashburton Avenue just after 9 p.m.

Detectives say police were responding to the scene while the victim took himself to the hospital.

He was listed in stable condition as of Sunday evening.

Yonkers police ask anyone with any information about the shooting to give them a call.
