Jamie Alvarez, a general manager with Casa Mia Restaurant at 132 Bronx River Road, says he came into work early last Tuesday and saw the front glass door shattered.

"They don't take anything. They tried to open the registers because they think we have money there, but they don't find anything there," said Alvarez.

However, Alvarez says fixing the front door and the break in altogether cost the business $1,500.

Police have confirmed there were at least four break-ins.

Across the street, workers at the 143 Bronx River Road Shell Convenience Store also had their front glass door broken in, and around $400 and a laptop stolen.

Yonkers police say there were two additional break ins last Wednesday at the 1144 Yonkers Ave. McDonald's, and just around the corner at New Fancy Nail Salon.

A worker at the nail salon told News 12 the front door of the business was also broken into, and a couple hundred dollars were stolen.

Representatives with McDonald's were contacted, but News 12 has not heard back.

Yonkers police have confirmed two of the suspects include 18-year-olds Jayvion Thompson, of New York City, who was booked with three counts of burglary, and Sadiq Daugherty, of Queens, who was booked with four counts of burglary and one count of robbery.

Four juveniles were also arrested, but their identities will not be released.
