Yonkers PD: Man shot in leg; person of interest in custody for separate incident
Officers were seen searching inside and outside of the property at 236 West Delano Ave. as other officers blocked off the roadway.

Yorktown police sergeant celebrates final walkout following 2 decades of service
4h agoPolice are probing two apparent shootings in Yonkers Monday afternoon.
The first incident happened at a home on Delano Avenue around 2 p.m. where a man was shot in the leg. Police do not believe it was a random attack.
The second incident happened about an hour later. Yonkers police were investigating a report of shots fired in the area of Morris Street and Riverdale Avenue. A person of interest is in custody. There were no weapons recovered and no known victims.
Details surrounding both incidents have not yet been made available.
