Yonkers officer who sings at nearly every formal police department ceremony honored during Black History Month

The Yonkers Police Department is honoring one of its officers as part of Black History Month celebrations.
Aside from protecting the community, Officer Virginia Creary has been tasked with singing at nearly every formal Yonkers Police Department ceremony.
Creary worked in Emergency Medical Services for close to a decade before she became a Yonkers police officer.
Creary said she has been singing for as long as she can remember.
