A 21-year-old Yonkers woman is charged with endangering the welfare of a child after police say she left her 3-year-old son home alone.
Police say a neighbor called about a child being home alone Tuesday night at the Mulford Gardens apartments. Authorities found the child alone and arrested Tina Scott when she returned in the morning. Neighbors say it isn?t the first time this has happened. Scott also has a 1-year-old daughter, who was with her father that night.
Scott?s son is in the custody of Child Protective Services. Police say it?s the second case of a child being left unattended in Yonkers in the past two weeks.
