A Yonkers man is in the hospital recovering today after being shot in the buttocks overnight.
Police say the man was shot while standing in front of a housing complex at 73 Highland Ave.
The victim was taken by Empress Ambulance to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives could been seen taking photographs of the scene and collecting evidence including shell casings scattered on the sidewalk. They say they are looking for three suspects who took off running after the shooting. No arrests have been made.
