A Yonkers man was sentenced to 25 years in prison Thursday for fatally shooting a man two years ago.
Edwin Palestina shot and killed 23-year-old Rodney Saunders on Woodsworth Avenue near Gold Street in Yonkers in May 2014.
Authorities arrested Palestina in Houston, Texas, last year.
In addition to killing Saunders, Palestina also shot a bystander who peeked out a window.
