yesterdayA Yonkers man is facing murder charges for the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old in upper Manhattan.
Authorities say Erni Garcia, of Manhattan, was found with a gunshot wound in the chest in front of a building in July of 2022. He was hospitalized and pronounced dead.
Juan Peguero was arrested Thursday, according to the NYPD. Police have not yet released a motive for the shooting.
