Yonkers lays to rest decorated police detective

Funeral services were held this weekend for Detective William Sullivan.

The city of Yonkers is mourning the loss of a beloved police officer who died from coronavirus complications.
A massive police escort brought Detective William Sullivan's casket from North Broadway and Gateway Road to the Sinatra Funeral Home.
Yonkers police remember him as a dedicated 25-year member of the department and devoted family man.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano says Detective Sullivan was family, and they shared many memories together.
