A Yonkers homeless shelter is closing its doors Sunday and some are wondering where they will turn next.
With Sharing Community shutting down, the county says it has set up a new shelter for the homeless to get services. They can go to the Kingdom Christian Cultural Center at 68 Palisade Ave.
Donnell Turnage, who relies on Sharing Community periodically, says moving to the new location isn't the best solution.
"They need to provide more homeless shelters for the people because there's a lot of people in the street," said Turnage.
A Westchester County spokesperson said in a statement that they're committed to making the transition as smooth as possible.
