A group of Yonkers firefighters spent Labor Day unexpectedly delivering a baby.
Four Yonkers firefighters received a call for a pregnant female having contractions, but when they arrived there was no time to get her to a hospital.
Capt. Brendan Murray says after about a minute and a half of pushing, the mother delivered her healthy baby girl right in her Highland Avenue apartment.
He says the mom wasn't expecting the baby for another month. This is baby number three for the mother who is comfortably resting at St. John's Riverside Hospital.
