Fire officials responding to a car crash made a heroic rescue during Thursday's storm.
The rescue happened in the Kohl's parking lot on Central Avenue in Yonkers, where a pregnant woman was stuck in her car surrounded by three to four feet of water.
Fire crews inflated their rescue boat and walked it out to the car.
They helped the stranded woman out of the car through the driver's window and walked her to safety.
