Many businesses in Yonkers geared up for Saint Patrick's Day festivities early.
Rory Dolan's on McLean Avenue got ready for the rush, and workers say that locals walked in the door early to get served up a traditional Irish meal.
There was also Irish music, drinks and dancing throughout the day.
Yonkers will host its own parade on McLean Avenue this weekend. It will feature marching bands and Irish step dancing.
The Yonkers parade kicks off on Saturday at 1 p.m.
