A Yonkers building was condemned Thursday after being ravaged by a fire that left more than 50 people homeless.
The fast-moving fire virtually destroyed the building at 56 Groshon Ave., off Herriott Street in Yonkers.
The Red Cross is helping by providing cots, food, and assistance with finding a permanent place to live for those who are displaced.
Arson investigators are looking into the possibility that the fire was intentionally set following a domestic dispute between a couple in the building.
