The world has become a much more stressful place, but one Westchester woman has found a unique way to bring relief.
While many people have turned to yoga to find spiritual and physical peace, a few people are taking it to a whole new level.
Debbie Bisaccia, who holds a master's degree in physical therapy, has turned the Long Island Sound into Westchester's first floating yoga studio. "It's about taking chances. It's not about how you do yoga, it is about the experience, the poses...feeling the pose," says Bisaccia.
Often referred to as a center of spiritual renewal, Bisaccia's clients include cancer patients and people recovering from injuries. Tiffany O'Toole says being in the sunlight and breathing the fresh salty air brings healing benefits. "Doing yoga on the water is a true testament that you can do our physical therapy anywhere," says O'Toole.
