Yellow zone restrictions in Newburgh, New Windsor lifted
Restrictions for the final two yellow zones in the Hudson Valley - Newburgh and New Windsor - have been lifted.
El Jalapeño Charro in New Windsor celebrated the milestone Monday with a fiesta.
New Windsor and Newburgh were two of the five yellow zones left in the state, along with Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx.
The restrictions allowed only allowed half capacity indoors for the past several months - and four people maximum to a table.
Now with yellow zones lifted, indoor dining can expand to 75%.
El Jalapeño Charro has not only hired back some employees they had to let go during the pandemic, but they also hired a new chef.
