Yankees legend Mariano Rivera receives 'key to the city' in New Rochelle
A parade and ceremony was held in New Rochelle Saturday to honor Mariano Rivera, one week after being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Rivera says New Rochelle is a special place for him and his family after living there for most of his career.
He accepted a key to the city during the ceremony.
Rivera was the first player to be unanimously elected into the Hall of Fame.
The Mariano Rivera Foundation plans to create a youth learning center in New Rochelle.
