Retired Yankee Mariano Rivera teamed up with Acura of Westchester in Larchmont last night to raise money for underprivileged children.
The pitching legend raffled off autographed baseballs and other prizes.
The proceeds went to several kids charities, including The Mariano Rivera Foundation. "Raising awareness of what's going on with these people and great event. [I] want to help as much as we can for those in need," says Rivera.
Rivera has been involved in the Westchester community for years. He and his wife also established the Refuge of Hope Church in New Rochelle.
