A number of events to honor WWII veterans have been planned here in New York and around the country.
Veteran Allan Moskin, of Nanuet, was present during the liberation of a concentration camp. He still recalls the horrifying ordeal, saying dead bodies were found all over, and says the emaciated bodies of those found alive are beyond description.
Veteran Bob Bisaccia, of Yonkers, helped kicked off a yearlong celebration in Times Square, to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives during WWII.
