WWI militiamen honored at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery
Militiamen who died during World War I were remembered on Sunday at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
The New York Guard held a ceremony for 40 members of New York's provisional regiment, who protected the city's reservoirs and aqueduct systems against German agents.
Many of the men died from the Spanish influenza pandemic.
This is the 99th year the New York Guard has held the ceremony.
