A multicar crash in Orange County was caused by a wrong-way driver, according to police.

Authorities say the crash happened in the town of Deerpark around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Frances Taillard was driving the wrong way on I-84 when he collided with three vehicles and rolled his own. Taillard had to be extricated and was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.

The drivers and passengers in the other three vehicles suffered only minor injuries.
