Plenty of debris needs to be removed from a building that collapsed in Yonkers.

Several pounds of wreckage still remain at Peterson Tool Rental in Yonkers, one day after a rockslide caused the company's building to partially collapse on Monday.

While no one got hurt, contractor Glenn Colyar said he and his co-workers want to help out with the cleanup.

"I knew the family business for years, and when I saw the devastation, I said, 'Let me come over and see if I can help assist in any of the moving forward progress,'" Colyar said.

If his company, called AYN, happens to get hired for the job, he shared what the removal process could look like.

"You have a lot of equipment here, I'm sure the insurance company has to come through and make an assessment," Colyar said.

Colyar warned that a project with this amount of wreckage could be costly.

"You're in six figures. You're in six figures," Colyar said.

It's potentially pricey work that Colyar said should be done soon.

"Looks like the integrity of the structure has already been compromised."

An employee from the tool company, named Angel, was also spotted at the scene on Tuesday.

He said he works inside the part of the building that collapsed.

"I'm glad I'm still alive," Angel said. "That's my spot where I'm supposed to be working."

It's unclear when the cleanup process will continue.
