One of the two NYPD officers shot in the Bronx last week is still being treated for his injuries.
Officer Andrew Dossi, of Stony Point, who was shot in the arm and back, was transferred from St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx to Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan this morning.
Dossi and partner Aliro Pellarano, of Garnerville, were shot while responding to a report of a grocery store robbery last Monday. Pellarano, who was hit in the arm and chest, was released from the hospital last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the two men arrested in connection with the shootings of Dossi and Pellarano were back in court today. Jason Polanco, 24, has been charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and carjacking. Police say his accomplice, Joshua Kemp, 28, was charged with armed robbery.
