A new poll is revealing how many New Yorkers feel about the city's first lady. 

The Quinnipiac University survey asked voters if they think the mayor's spouse should have a chief of staff. In the Bronx, 52 percent don't think so. Most also think she should have little to no say in policy changes. 

News 12 hit the streets to conduct its own poll about the role of spouses to elected officials. One person said, "Behind every Obama there's a Michelle," while others think their role should be kept strictly to the family. 

The poll comes on the heels of Chirlane McCray's chief of staff taking a leave of absence amid personal troubles.
