The accomplishments of women worldwide continued to be recognized Friday in honor of Women's History Month through works of art in Yonkers.
More than 100 participants from around the Hudson Valley took part in this year's Family Art Workshop at the Hudson River Museum.
Guests created collages of their own, featuring the quotations and images of women from around the world who have made their mark in media, politics and history, while inspiring others.
"You choose what resonates with you and then you create something to take home that will remind you of wise women throughout history and today," said the museum's Saralinda Lichtblau.
The event was open to participants of all ages.
The museum provided free of charge all the materials which included colored pencils, paper and markers.
