A Yonkers woman has been hospitalized after being hit by a Bee-Line bus in Yonkers.
It happened at around 6:30 a.m. Friday at the corner of Woodlawn and McLean avenues.
Yonkers officials say a woman was crossing the street when she was suddenly hit by the bus. No passengers were on the bus at the time.
Police say the victim, who is in her late 50s, suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center. She is expected to survive.
Police say it was an accident and no charges have been filed.
