Friday morning's truck accident on the Tappan Zee Bridge forced a woman to give birth in a nearby parking lot as construction workers and passers-by cheered her on.
Ashley and Brian Larkin left their Piermont home around 9 a.m. knowing they'd run into traffic, but the massive road delays could not stop the arrival of their second child.
Brian waited on the bridge as state troopers escorted Ashley to Westchester County and eventually into an ambulance, where EMS workers helped welcome their daughter, Maudi, into the world - all from the parking lot of Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow.
The family was taken into the hospital where all members are doing well.
