Police say a woman was found dead in a home in White Plains Sunday night, and neighbors suspect the death was a case of domestic violence.

Police arrived at 14 Harmon St. Sunday night at around 10 p.m. and found the woman's body. They say she was killed overnight in the home, which was undergoing renovations or construction work.

Neighbors who spoke to News 12 Westchester say they didn't hear any commotion from the home Sunday night and speculate that the incident was the result of a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

Police say they know the identity of the victim but are not yet releasing her name.
