A woman is facing charges this morning, accused of selling weight loss drugs on TikTok without a license to people in the Hudson Valley.
Federal prosecutors say Lisa Navarro, of Long Island, was smuggling the drugs, like Ozempic, from Central and South America.
They say she would post videos on social media to find customers and then mail the drugs. This allegedly was going on since November of 2022.
A White Plains woman reached out to Navarro in February 2023 and ordered 30 injections of the weight loss drug Mesofrance. We're told she was arrested after selling the drugs to an undercover officer.
