Police say a woman is dead and four other people were hurt in an early morning crash on Bruckner Boulevard.

It happened just after 4:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Bruckner and Sheridan boulevards. Police say that a white sedan driven by an unidentified woman struck a white box truck, which then struck a 14-wheeler tractor trailer.

The woman driver was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Her two passengers, a 26-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, were both injured and taken to NYC Health+Hospitals/Lincoln, in critical and stable condition.

The drivers of the 18-wheeler and the box truck were also injured but are stable at the same hospital.
